JOB OVERVIEW

As a Camp Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children, while enjoying a fun and rewarding summer experience yourself. Join our fantastic team this summer, and help create lasting memories for our campers and yourself!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must enjoy working with children and other peers
• Reliability
• Supervise and engage with campers in various activities and programs throughout the day
• Implement, organize, and lead various activities: group games, arts and crafts, recreational activities
• Provide guidance, supervision and support to campers through their day
• Maintain a safe and positive camp environment for all participants
• Collaborate with other camp staff to create fun and memorable experiences for campers and yourself

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with children in a camp, daycare, or educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, preferred
• Ability to work as a team player, have flexibility with campers and co workers
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom control strategies, beneficial

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
