Position Overview

Internexus Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Language Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant teaching experience and a strong commitment to enhancing the language skills of our diverse student body. This position requires in-person instruction at our Redondo Beach campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students' language proficiency levels.
• Teach English language classes, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their learning.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and interaction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language instruction.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• TESOL certificate (or equivalent) is required.
• Significant teaching experience in English as a Second Language (ESL) or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technology in the classroom.
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Working Conditions

• This position requires in-person teaching at our Redondo Beach campus.
• Flexible schedule availability may be required.
